In the spring of 2009, the Kovács Gábor Kovács Art Foundation brought home from France the fine art legacy of Tibor Csernus, one of the most significant creators of contemporary painting. In addition to the hundreds of paintings and drawings, most of the studio's furnishings were also brought home from Paris. This was donated to the Foundation by the artist's heir with the aim of the Foundation using them to furnish a memorial hall evoking the atmosphere of a Parisian studio. This permanent exhibition can now be seen in the Armory Palace of the Várkert Bazaar.
