Lajos Szalay (1909-1995), the most important figure of 20th-century Hungarian graphic art, would have been 100 years old on February 26. The anniversary prompted the Kovács Gábor Art Foundation to stage an oeuvre exhibition this January, a display in KOGART House on Andrássy Avenue. Following the Budapest display, a representative selection of the estate, now the property of the Foundation, is presented in Miskolc Gallery.
