The Pauline-Carmelite Monastery of Sopronbánfalva
Sopronbánfalva

The exhibition presents more than 20 pictures of the painter Daniel László who in April 2010 went on a pilgrimage to Csiksomlyó and one year later took the Mary’s Pilgrimage Route from Budapest to Mariazell.

His series of art-works serves as a diary of his journeys showing us church interiors and roadside crosses as well as the industrial environment.  Beside the various landscapes these pictures take us to an inner journey through the pilgrimage routes.

These paintings of Dániel László were on show in several cities of the Carpathian Basin in recent years. During the time of our exhibition some other paintings of the Mary’s Pilgrimage Route series are on view in Napoleon House, Győr.
